Open Beta Test 3 - Last Resort Mod

Nothing specific. Just look for any error pop up screens with the LR launcher. Look for anything strange in Swat 3 itself in terms of the 2D menus (specifically the newly centered single player screens).

Any feedback is welcome really ie. comments about things your don't like about the mod. Don't be shy about being negative since I have lived with the mod so long that I may not have a clear vision on what sucks about it.

This is looking like it will be a release candidate unless bugs are discovered. Once this is done I can concentrate on making new HD textures for maps.

There is one thing so far I have noticed, possibly a texture bug.
Initially I suspected a mod to cause it but I have unchecked them all and it is still there:

The texture of the optiwand is some sort of white greenish, like some sort of placeholder texture.

PS: Thanks for keeping Swat3 alive, a game experience that has never been recreated by any modern game so far.

After some searching I discovered the source of the problem.   It was my mistake and I am ashamed wasn't caught before.

The mirror model is by [BBE]Drummer but somehow his texture ("mirror.bmp") never made it into the mod.

I will upload a fixed version of "Last_Resort_v0.8.3.zip" and add a link in next post.

Okay I uploaded the fix to the dropbox folder with the other beta files

Dropbox automatically looks into the .zip file like a normal folder when it displays it. Just hit the arrow down button on the top right to download the whole file intact.

Place it in your Swat 3's mod folder and overwrite the original file in there that was installed with the beta of Last Resort. As usual don't unzip into that folder.

I've seen the site show the server up once or twice over the past couple days but no luck connecting.

Ya, the owner of NeuWon got back to me, worked on the network, and thought he had resolved the problems but sadly we still can not connect.

Last night I just forgot to shut down the server after testing it.

Thanks for trying it out. I was starting to think it was just me that was having problems.
