You have the old version that wasn't coded with as many safeguards. I suspect the problem you are having (without getting much info yet) is a bug the launcher had. If the game crashed the next time you launched Swat 3 the Last Resort Launcher could get confused about what game executable to launch.

The easiest fix that I recommend for you is to install the latest beta version.

Let us know how it goes. So far there haven't been any reports of bugs with this new release but I am still on the lookout before it gets a wide release.

Wait, when I open the launcher that you gave me, it says that it doesn't let launcher access swat.exe, swat.ini, and mTemp.txt

Not sure what that means. Can you post a screenshot of the error?

What I linked you to is an installer that installs a new version of the mod files. If it can't find those files it sounds like your Swat 3 install is really messed up.

The installer doesn't check for all those files so not sure how or why you get that error.

Update: Or is it a permission error with Windows? If the mod installed fine and you get that error with the LR launcher perhaps it is a file permission problem? Try giving the Last_Resort.exe admin privileges?
