Spam Prevention - PLEASE READ !! (23 Apr 2021)

Due to a problem with spammers the rules for posting in the forums have changed for new users.

Newly registered users won't have their posts published until a moderator approves them.

Curious as to why after we changed it kept saying wrong cd key, will try get him online tonight and re test and see if the result may be changed now.

Was he ever able to join the server, got disconnected, and then got that error?

If so that takes about 20 - 25 minutes for that error to clear.

If he always got the CD key error and was never able to join then one of your friends probably had the same key or you buddy didn't follow the intructions properly.

Unfortunately there are 2 places Windows 10 64-bit can store the CD key in the Window's registry.

The proper Location for 64-bit machine:

Code:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\WON\CDKeys

and

Code:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WON\CDKeys

This is why we recommend that the CD Key Utility be run with admin privileges.

The mod doesn't do anything to the command menu text.

Perhaps you need to tweak some settings in dgVoodoo.
